Labotessa is a boutique hotel situated in the heart of Cape Town’s historic Church Square. Our work centred on developing a refined brand identity that captures the elegance, intimacy and cosmopolitan nature of the guest experience. From the monogram to the tone of voice, every brand element was crafted to echo the sense of place: sophisticated yet inviting, timeless yet current. A soft powder blue and a quiet typographic system reflect the hotel’s contemporary take on old-world luxury. Marketing material, guest touchpoints and stationery were designed with restrained confidence, allowing texture and space to communicate prestige. This identity honours the building’s heritage while positioning Labotessa as a sanctuary for modern travellers who appreciate design, comfort and a uniquely local experience.
